Create a good skincare routine

There is a lot to think of when it comes to skincare, and it is not easy to navigate through all the products offered by hundreds of companies. We have dug deep into natural and organic skincare and collected our favorites in the bathroom.

Organic skincare is grown without irrigation, chemicals and genetic manipulation. The organic ingredients hold more vitamins, antioxidants and minerals which gives our skin more nutrition.

Natural skincare is defined by the high amount of natural ingredients, that means the raw material is originated from nature. Argan oil, aloe vera and roses are some examples.

We hope that you will be as inspired as us when it comes to skincare that makes a significant difference.

Evolve Organic Beauty

Evolve Organic Beauty was founded by Laura Rudoe in 2009 with the vision to develop and evolve products that are good for the planet but at the same time efficient for our skin. The products are handmade in their studio in England and in small batches, to ensure the freshness and quality of their products. Evolves products contain both organic and natural ingredients, such as peptides deranged from coconut, natural hyaluronic acid and retinol from rose-hip. They are designed to work together with our skins natural processes and respect fragile and sensitive skin. Everything they make is also vegan. We love every single product but would especially like to recommend their incredible Rose Quartz Facial Polish - a face peeling that fits perfect for the much-needed awakening our skin needs after winter. It also leaves the skin silky smooth.

Susanne Kaufmann

Susanne Kaufmanns is born and raised in Bregenzerwals, an idyllic part of the alps in Austria. She grew up with an understanding and connection to the local traditions and the benefits of the beauty and wellness that could be found in the local plants, this became her vision for the company she has created named after her. Susanne Kaufmann combines natures unique characteristics, which supports our skins natural functions, with innovations and a sustainable lifestyle. Her products are made to optimize our skin health and help it through the increasing amount of environmental stress. Right now, we love her Nourishing Day Cream and Nourishing Night Cream but would not mind using every single product.

OM-SE

OM-SE is a Swedish company founded in 2020 by Jenny and Jacob Huurinainen. Their journey began as a passion project to treat Jenny’s unbalanced skin after a pregnancy. She took inspiration in the FOODMAP-method and only used high-quality ingredients with a positive impact on the skin as well as left out all additives, typically found in skincare products. That was the start to what we now know as OM-SE. Years of polishing and development on the products resulted in high-quality, natural and minimalistic skincare which preserves and protects our skins complexity. We absolutely love their products and the fantastic feeling their oil-based products leave on our skin. It penetrates the skin immediately and gives us a massive boost of nutrition.

Skinome

The founder of the skincare company Skinome is Johanna Gillbro, PhD in experimental and clinical dermatology. Skinome offers freshly made skincare which contributes to optimal skin health. Their products are free of unnecessary preservatives, perfumes and other unessential additions that interfere and disrupt the natural microbiome of the skin. Many conventional products that contain active ingredients lose their effect when they encounter air and are stored in room/ambient temperature. Skinome produce their skincare in small batches, with shorter durability where all the active ingredients are preserved. To maintain the magic of the product, they should be stored in a refrigerator. We have tried their wonderful, ultralight moisturizer Light Emulsion which gives a cooling feeling and absorbs into the skin instantly. Ad highly recommend it.
